These are our general retreat terms & conditions for Deva Pathways

Our cancellation policy
Cancellation by a consumer:
Deva Pathways is entitled to keep 50% of the full cost of the retreat, to cover any expenses incurred as a result of your cancellation. This amount can be transferred to another Deva Pathways retreat or online programme (within the next 12 months) if notification is given more than 90 days beforehand.

Transfer by a consumer:
If any person is prevented from joining a retreat, Deva Pathways will agree to that person’s booking being transferred to another person who satisfies all the conditions, subject to both persons accepting joint and several liability for full payment of the cost. Deva Pathways must be given reasonable notice of the transfer request, which is considered to be at least 90 days prior to the retreat date.

If you cancel 90 days before arrival (start date of the retreat) and have paid in full, we will refund 50% of total cost. If you cancel less than 90 days before arrival, we will charge 100% of total cost. This does not affect your legal right to transfer your booking to another person in certain circumstances.

Cancellation by Deva Pathways 
In the unlikely event that Deva Pathways has to cancel your retreat for no fault of your own, we will notify you as quickly as possible and we will compensate you for any loss reasonably incurred by you as a result of our cancellation. The consumer is entitled to take an equivalent, superior or lower cost substitute retreat or online programme (if we are able to offer you one). We will always refund the difference in price if the replacement retreat or online programme is of a lower cost.

Deva Pathways is not responsible for your expenses incurred in preparation for any cancelled retreats such as other accommodation, airline tickets, loss of work, and/or other costs associated with preparing for your trip.

The consumer is entitled to compensation by Deva Pathways except:
a. When the number of persons is less than the required minimum of 6, providing you are notified of this 30 days beforehand.
b. When the retreat is cancelled due to unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of Deva Pathways

The alteration of some amenities might take place due to maintenance work, mechanical faults, weather conditions, sickness or other situations outside our control. 

Flight confirmation and insurance.
It is your responsibility to confirm your flight times with your airline before your outward and return journey.

You must have travel insurance in place from the moment you pay your deposit to reserve your place on a retreat.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of private travel insurance for both UK and overseas travel with protection for the full duration of the retreat in respect of medical expenses, injury, death, repatriation, cancellation and curtailment, with adequate cover.

You are responsible for arranging full travel insurance which should cover you for the activities you plan to undertake and have adequate cover for travel delay, cancellation and curtailment, medical expenses and your personal belongings and all Covid related changes to plans. 

Your policy should include cover for any medical claim due to Coronavirus and cancellation due to you falling ill with Coronavirus or being unable to travel or being required to self-isolate. Your insurance should also cover early trip cancellation for Covid-19 reasons such as testing positive, needing to isolate or going home early. 

Exclusions of liability

• Cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations or other events beyond our control.

• Participants' medical or psychiatric/emotional conditions which may become apparent through any practices,  guided journeys and workshops on a Deva Pathways retreat.

• Loss of, or damage to, personal property of participants.

Photo / Video Release – Use of Image
You hereby grant to Deva Pathways the absolute and irrevocable right, and unrestricted permissions to use photographic portraits/images/videos in which you feature that are taken during the retreat to use/republish/copyright, etc. for commercial use in association with Deva Pathways. You hereby release and discharge Deva Pathways from any and all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with the use of the photographs and video footage, including without limitation any and all claims for libel or invasion of privacy.

Complaints
We are confident that you will not find cause for concern during your retreat. If you feel that a complaint is warranted you must raise the issue directly with our Director. Any retrospective complaint must be made in writing to Deva Pathways within 14 days of the end of your retreat.

By booking any retreat with Us you agree to be bound by and adhere to all policies and rules.

Disclaimer & Privacy policy

We strongly believe in data privacy and endeavour at all times to collect the barest minimum of personally identifiable information from you. We never share or sell your personal data. 

Any information you share with Deborah Stanley is freely given and all information shared (including email addresses) is treated as strictly confidential and will not be sold or disclosed to other parties. We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected and we strictly adhere to the provisions of The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018.

Medical, Spiritual and Therapeutic disclaimer:

Group programmes and events hosted by Deborah Stanley are for individuals who are emotionally and psychologically healthy. Any change in you in my proximity or through working with me occurs entirely according to your own Source-connection and self-healing ability. I am not a health-care professional; a medical doctor; a counsellor - nor do I conform to the actions; behaviours; teachings; practices; codes; or expectations you may have of any such parties. 

Please be aware that Deva Pathways in-person retreats and workshops are not a substitute for professional medical care by a qualified doctor or other health care professional. Nor are they intended to replace any formal diagnosis and treatment by a qualified medical practitioner. Resulting choices and changes made by you remain your personal and legal responsibility. Always check with your doctor if you have any concerns about any condition you may have.

Disclaimer: Hysterectomy, Trans/non binary & use of the word "womb"

If you have had any alteration to your womb, including full or part hysterectomy, or you identify as a member of the LGBTIQ+ community, you can still experience the huge benefits of working with the energetics of your womb or "hara" . Deborah honours the many expressions and genders that lie within the scope of "feminine self-care", and warmly welcomes working with members of the LGBTIQ+ community and also with cisgender men. Yet as a cisgender female, Deborah wishes her clients to know that she feels most comfortable drawing from her own personal experience. When Deborah refers to "Womb" or "Hara" she is implicitly referring to the sacred space of the womb and sacral chakra, the energetic creative space that is within all of us.
